Accessories
Your van camper may or may not come with items like Lagun tables and a TV. Learn about common accessories and how to find them if you need to add or replace anything.
Tables
There are three types of tables common in van campers: pedestal, Lagun and flip up (usually as counter extensions or workspaces). Pedestal tables are fixed in place and sometimes wobbly. They're a cheaper option for manufacturers and therefore common. A Lagun mount and tabletop is a much more versatile solution because it swivels and can swing out of the way in tight spaces. Many owners add a Lagun mount themselves.

TV
Many van campers come with a TV, usually 24" but as large as 32" in luxury models. Some TVs have 12v plugs, which is much more efficient and means you don't need to use an inverter. Some models also have rooftop over-the-air antennas too. Note these small TVs have terrible sound. If yours didn't come with a soundbar, you can purchase one and a mounting kit for a fun DIY project.
Window Coverings
Most van campers come with window coverings for the "house" windows as well as the cab, but owners are often dissatisfied with them (especially the cab window covers). Aftermarket suppliers Van Essential and The Wanderful are popular sources of window coverings. Many also add a cover for their roof vent fan.

Bug Screens
Whenever the temperature is not too hot or cold, it's glorious to open up the van while at camp -- including the sliding and rear doors. So bug screens are essential. All new van campers come with these screens. Most have some combination of zippers and magnetic openings, while Coachmen installs retractable screens similar to residential style. ALL of them are usually fussy and delicate, and pets seem to love destroying them! Popular aftermarket solutions include BugWall, Van Essential, The Wanderful, and Rolef.
